I am so gratified to write about ZAHOORULLAH sir who has been my lecturer, guide and a good companion for the past six years. He taught me Computational Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics in class and in laboratory as well. But the best part is he was able to teach all the others courses as well which is a rare phenomenon to find. He is like a tree with many branches who beholds many topics within him. His knowledge is so immense and diversified that he used to give me an instant answer without looking into a book or internet.

Even after bagging so many achievements, he is so down to earth and always helps his students whenever wherever. He is a gem of a person. He updates himself with the technology and there were some instances where he cleared my doubts in WhatsApp as well. He always encourages students to come up with doubts. His class was a session of discussion rather than a lecture.

He’s basically an all rounder, not only in the view of subjects but also in extracurricular activities such as dancing, playing sports, anchoring etc; and is highly humorous. Our batch used to enjoy his company in the form of lectures and as a sportsman too. I was really amazed when I heard that his biography was listed in the “Marquis Who's Who in the World” in 2014 which is a renowned American publisher. I’m sure that he will achieve more breakthroughs in the field of Biotechnology for the welfare of mankind and continues motivating his students to do so. I feel really proud to be a student of yours and I wish you a good luck and hope someday you will surely be awarded - The Nobel Prize.
